Scheduling sucks.
I am trying to work out my spring semester and it is not going so hot.
The only French that really works with my schedule is the one with both class AND the TA sections meeting from 9-10am, which would mean getting up at 8. Every. Single. Day.
I'm not sure which of two WAGS (Women's and Gender Studies) classes I want to take- I will probably end up taking 24 (Gender Labor) becuase it's required for the major and I'm def. considering WAGS, but the Medea class sounds really interesting. If I do take Medea, that fucks up my schedule a LOT.
My other two classes are really confusing me. I want to take an English class (because if I want to be able to major in English I have to keep taking at least one every semester), but I looked up the only class this semester I'm interested in on scrutiny (our verson of rate my professor) and there are a lot of mixed reviews on the professor and none on the class because it's new. My main problem is that I really wanted a female professor this time, becuase I honestly feel that I would be more willing to speak up in discussion when I'm with a woman because, as stupid as it sounds, I'm less intimidated. (that's so unfeminist of me) The think the prof of this class is gay, which could be really good OR really bad, probably bad, because I would just want him to like me so much that it would backfire. Fuck.
And that leaves one more slot, which I wanted to fill with the astronomy for non-majors course because I really need something not reading heavy. Unfortunately it is apparently the most boring class on the face of the planet. I am still contemplating it because pretty much everyone on the floor is taking it, and I think that aspect could be fun... or not.
Otherwise I might take Anthro 12. Or Archeology of Greece. I don't even know.
AND I ONLY HAVE UNTIL LIKE THURSDAY AGH.
